Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Batcho ("we", "us", "our") provides a multi-tenant batch management platform for coaching, teaching and training academies. This policy explains how we handle personal data belonging to academy owners, co-trainers, students and parents who use Batcho.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, role.
• Academy data: academy name, logo, branding preferences, country, currency, bank details (for payouts).
• Operational data: students, batches, schedules, attendance, performance scores, wellness logs.
• Payment data: handled by Razorpay (India) or Stripe (SG/UK). We never store card or UPI credentials.
• Device data: push notification tokens, device model, OS version, anonymous crash reports.

3. Why we collect it

We process personal data only for the purposes of operating the platform, processing payments, sending session and payment reminders, generating receipts, and improving the product. We do not sell or share data with advertisers.

4. Where it lives

Indian customers' data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. Singapore and UK customers' operational data is stored in their respective Google Cloud regions. Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or Stripe (SG/UK) under their own privacy policies.

5. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors necessary to run the service: Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database), Razorpay and Stripe (payments), Meta WhatsApp Business API (messaging). Each is bound by its own data protection obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@batcho.co. We will respond within 30 days as required by the DPDP Act 2023 (India), GDPR (UK), and PDPA (Singapore).

7. Children's data

Students under 18 are registered by their parent or guardian or by the academy with parental consent. Parents may request deletion of any data relating to their child at any time.
